Bobadilla Carne y Parrilla — Winston's verdict
Paraguayan-soul parrilla in Pinares, the most-recommended steakhouse in Pereira's premium neighborhood — real fire, aged cuts, traditional sides with chimichurri.
The Pinares pick if you want a serious cut without driving to Mall San Pablo. The mariposa and the asado paraguayo are the dishes.
Bobadilla has been doing one thing for 20+ years and does it correctly: real fire, real cuts, traditional sides, no shortcuts. The menu is honest — Provoleta to start, Empanadas Paraguayas (a non-skip), then you choose your weight class. The Punta de Anca and Churrasco at 350g are the standard order; the Bife de Chorizo at 400g is what the regulars get. Premium imports (Asado de Tira, Picanha Prime, Entraña) are available if you want to spend up. Wine list runs from Trivento ($130K) to Di Milano ($600K). The signature Bobadilla cocktail is worth the order.
