Pereira's classic café at the heart of the Eje Cafetero — third-wave coffee with traditional Paisa kitchen, in the city that defines Colombian coffee.

Café Pereira is what every Eje Cafetero café aspires to be: serious about coffee without making it precious, serious about food without overreaching. The pour-over is Risaralda single-origin, brewed V60 method, and the barista will tell you the farm if you ask. The bandeja paisa is the traditional version — chicharrón, chorizo, beans, plantain, fried egg, rice, arepa — and it lands at the size of a dinner plate. The almojábanas are baked through the day. The location on Carrera 7 puts you in walking distance of the Plaza de Bolívar and the cathedral. This is the right first stop after landing in Pereira.
